These Teardrop trailers tow like a dream.  I delivered one of the teardrop trailers two hours away and easily pulled the trailer at 75 MPH on the interstate.  Another teardrop was delivered six hours away to Grand Junction, Colorado.  This time I set my cruise control at 64 MPH (2500 RPM) for the whole trip and recorded 19 miles per gallon over varying terrain.  Considering my Isuzu Trooper is rated at 16 to 19 MPG, I found this to be amazing!  It’s like it isn’t even there!  Additionally, I can barely see the fenders out of my side mirror and at less than 700 pounds I seriously can’t even feel it’s back there.  Additionally, in some States (including Utah), trailers less than 750 pounds do not require registration (I know some States do, so please check with your DMV).

The “woody” look comes from the Birch plywood used for the wallsThe top, side, and bottom edges are trimmed with aluminum.  The roof has a screened 14 inch vent in the top, as an option, for circulation in the summer time and a window which provides plenty of light during the day.  The night is lit by an optional battery operated light in the cabin, but may be supplemented by a lamp using the optional 120 volt ac outlet in the cabin.  The other 120 volt ac outlet in the galley provides a plug in for your microwave, coffee maker, or anything else.  The electrical system includes a lengthy extension cord that will reach most campground AC outlets.

Another option is for a trailer jack which eliminates lifting the tongue onto the ball.  The trailer jack also sports a wheel to make moving the trailer easy without hooking up to your vehicle; this also makes it a snap to connect the tongue to the ball hitch (1 7/8”).   The brake and running lights receive power from your vehicle with a standard flat 4 prong connector. The cabin door and galley hatch are both lockable to secure your valuables.  The trailer will come with a Bill of Sale.  Please contact me with any additional questions that may arise.

The base model price does not include delivery.  Upon request, I will personally deliver anywhere in the Continental United States or arrange to have a transport company perform delivery. Please email me for a delivery price quote. Shipping must be pre-paid before delivery.  It is your responsibility to arrange shipping or pickup.  The delivery date will vary depending upon how quickly your funds clear and the options you select for your teardrop.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures.  Please forward any questions you may have.  Thank you!
