Bob Baker, MBA

Robert/Bob BakerWith 30-years plus of experience in the broader public sector, Bob Baker’s expertise spans leadership, organizational improvement and team building. He is an experienced third sector CEO and senior executive, working at national charities as well as in healthcare and in higher education. Bob has extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing integrated strategies, building brand and reputation, generating revenue streams, and moving decisions forward. He has also provided executive leadership to three mergers of charitable organizations and is now an expert advisor on such transactions. An experienced facilitator and instructor, Bob teaches operations management and board governance at Ontario Tech University in addition to delivering workshops at major conferences. Bob is currently the Vice President of Philanthropy at Habitat for Humanity Canada and the Managing Director of The Baker Group Inc., a firm that provides leadership and strategic advice to third sector organizations. He is a graduate of the MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and has a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor. He also completed the Masters Certificate in Public Sector Management at Ontario Tech University as well as the Not-for-Profit Governance Essentials Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
