Townhalls

The President’s Equity Taskforce (PET) established January 2018 is committed to supporting the development of a coordinated institutional strategy to promote an inclusive and welcoming environment at the university.

The objective of the consultation sessions is to arrive at a better understanding of practices, processes and other workplace activities that support the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) at the university.  This information will help as part of our efforts to inform future EDI planning and programming at Ontario Tech.

We invite staff, students and faculty members to join our ongoing conversation about the underlying values that contribute to a better understanding of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at Ontario Tech.

Here is what we are going to be talking about:

  • On matters related to EDI, what is your vision for the university?
  • What does EDI mean to you?
  • What practices, tools and supports related to EDI should be considered as part of strategy development?
